Monitoring Committee of the UPC-JG Chair

Semi-annual meeting of the UPC-JG Chair monitoring committee.

On December 12, the semiannual meeting of the UPC-JG chair monitoring committee took place. The commission has the function of supervising and guiding the operation of the chair.

At the meeting we reviewed the different ongoing projects, focused on monitoring and analysis of comfort in logistics warehouses, and industrial doctorates (those of Gil Vinyeta and Yenny Marquez), and the budget for the year 2024 was agreed.

The interest that we have at JG in studying improvements in laboratory ventilation systems was discussed, a sector in which we want to have more presence.

We are very happy to confirm that María Salamero joined this meeting as a new member of the monitoring commission. María is an industrial engineer, director of sustainability at Celsa, and is currently the president of the Association of Industrial Engineers of Catalonia.
