The Stadium Development and Design Summit in Manchester

For the second year in a row, JG Ingenieros attended the Stadium Development and Design Summit , an international congress of sports equipment held in Manchester from December 9 to 11.

The meeting provided an opportunity to share experiences with international professionals and companies in the sector, including architecture firms, developers, project managers, and specialized consultants. These contacts strengthen JG’s presence in a highly specialized field and allow for the identification of new trends and opportunities related to the design, development, and operation of stadiums, arenas, and sports facilities.

Throughout the congress, projects were presented that focused on the evolution of these spaces, with special attention to the incorporation of new services that expand their use and generate added value, such as restaurants, hotels, shopping areas and other complementary spaces.

JG Ingenieros was also present at the awards gala for the best sports projects, where the Roig Arena received recognition in the Fan Experience category . The teams from ERRE Arquitectura and HOK accepted the award on behalf of the project.

The stay in Manchester was completed with an exterior visit to the Manchester United stadium and a working meeting with the engineering firm Hilson-Moran, with whom JG Ingenieros is exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
