Focus 73: Quirónsalud Diagnostic Center, Pozuelo
A comprehensive refurbishment and conversion for healthcare use.
In the 73rd edition of our technical bulletin JG Focus, we present the Quirónsalud Diagnostic Center in Pozuelo (Madrid), a project developed by Joana Martínez Molina and Emilio González Gaya that reflects our commitment to high‑complexity engineering applied to healthcare environments.
JG Ingenieros oversaw the complete transformation of a building originally designed as a television recording studio, repurposing it into a modern, fully equipped diagnostic center.
The scope of work included:
- New interior layout to create purpose‑built rooms for medical diagnostics.
- Redesign of technical installations to meet healthcare requirements.
- Structural reinforcements and interventions to accommodate state‑of‑the‑art medical equipment.
- Construction of a new access module and vertical core to ensure full compliance with accessibility regulations.
This project reinforces our proven expertise in the refurbishment of complex infrastructures, delivering solutions that meet the highest technical, regulatory, and functional standards.
