Celebrating our 55th Anniversary

Once again, we have held our traditional summer dinners at our offices in Madrid, Seville, Zaragoza, and Barcelona.

This year was a double celebration, as it was also the perfect occasion to mark JG’s 55th anniversary together with all our colleagues and their partners. It was a pleasure to meet or reconnect with so many of them.

During the dinners, Juan Gallostra shared with us the company’s positive current situation and its future plans:

“In 1970, our father started the company in Barcelona with three collaborators, and today we are a great team of 170 professionals spread across Spain and Latin America. We have reasons to celebrate!

A few days ago, I asked for the numbers: how many people, how many stories, how many families have passed through the different JG offices over these 55 years? Nearly 1.200 professionals have contributed to making JG what it is today. It’s only fair to remember them and thank them as well.

As president, I want to start by thanking all JG professionals for your hard and well‑executed work over the years. Thanks to you, we are in great shape and ready to face the future with optimism. I also want to thank all those who support and encourage us from “outside” JG, often sharing the small or big challenges that arise—and perhaps less often, the many joys we experience.

Secondly, I wanted to share that JG is in excellent shape, with strong business results and a solid project focused on the high‑complexity buildings…”

The rest of the speech remains a treasured moment within JG.

With the support of a great team, we have reached 55 years. One thing is clear—our next challenge: JG at 100!
