First Q Spring Meeting

On April 10th and 11th, the First Q Spring General Meeting was held in Cologne, Germany, organized by our partner ZWP.

During the event, the positive evolution of the group’s 15 companies was reviewed, highlighting consolidated revenue of €500 million in 2024 and a forecast of €556 million for 2025.

Most members agreed on the heavy workload and the difficulty of recruiting new staff.

The activity of the various working groups was also monitored, highlighting the publication of the white paper “Unlocking the Potential of AI in Building Design and Operation: The Vital Role of MEP Engineering in the Real Estate Sector” by the Smart Buildings group, cybersecurity training by the IT group, and the creation of a new Artificial Intelligence working group.

We review the 53 joint project opportunities that have arisen among members since the last general meeting.

In terms of communications, we have agreed to change our general newsletter to a more focused one.

One of the opportunities offered by First Q membership is staff exchanges, allowing our staff to gain work experience in a different country. Two exchanges have already taken place in 2025, and four more are planned for the rest of the year.

Finally, we approved a new European competition event, this year based on innovation in artificial intelligence.

Our next First Q general meeting will take place in France in October.
