Recognition Event for UPC Corporate Chairs
On July 22nd we attended the first meeting of corporate chairs at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), an event in which the contribution of the different chairs to university research was recognized.
The meeting allowed us to share experiences with the UPC’s governing team—pictured here with the rector, Dr. Francesc Torres—and with representatives from the various corporate chairs. In our sector, those linked to the construction company Grupo Construcía and the architecture firm Batlle i Roig stand out.
During the meeting with the rector we also had the opportunity to recall that our UPC-JG Chair for Sustainability in Building Engineering is probably the oldest of all the UPC company chairs, since it began its activity 25 years ago, in 2001.
