JG Ingenieros and Incosa have reached an agreement to bring together their capabilities and create one of Spain’s foremost engineering groups, with a strengthened value proposition in strategic sectors such as energy, engineering and architecture for highly complex buildings, infrastructure, the environment and specialist technical consultancy.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1985, Incosa<\/a> is an independent engineering and consultancy company with more than 600 professionals. It provides end-to-end solutions across the full project lifecycle in sectors including energy, infrastructure, the environment and building engineering.<\/p>\n

The agreement brings together two companies with strong track records, highly complementary businesses and a shared culture of close client relationships, technical excellence and innovation. Together, the two firms have 95 years of experience – 55 years for JG Ingenieros and 40 years for Incosa – representing almost a century of combined expertise serving their clients. The new group will have more than 800 professionals, expanding its capacity to take on larger, more complex and higher value-added projects in Spain and international markets.<\/p>\n

The integration will enable the group to offer clients a more comprehensive response throughout the entire project lifecycle: from strategic consultancy, concept and detailed engineering, technical supervision and construction supervision through to operation, maintenance, sustainability, digitalisation and energy optimisation of assets.<\/p>\n

The objective is to consolidate a leading engineering group capable of supporting public and private clients in strategic, complex and multidisciplinary projects. The group will particularly strengthen its position in energy and the energy transition, as well as in highly complex building projects – areas in which demand for technical knowledge, efficiency, sustainability and digitalisation continues to grow. The integration also represents an opportunity for the professional development of both companies’ teams, bringing together talent, specialist knowledge and sector experience on a shared platform for growth.<\/p>\n
