width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; el_class=&#8221;fullwidemobile&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>Rehabilitation towards a more sustainable future.<\/strong> <!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OMB\u00da, built in 1905 and originally conceived as an energy building, begins a new stage as offices and consolidates itself as a benchmark project in sustainable rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The intervention focuses on reusing the existing structure and complementing it with construction solutions and facilities designed specifically for a unique asset.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Project highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preservation of the original envelope, maintaining more than 10,000 tons of brick.<\/li>\n<li>New lightweight interior structure made of sustainably sourced wood, saving +1,600 t of CO\u2082, and is also recyclable and demountable.<\/li>\n<li>It prioritizes natural light through a central skylight and glazing with photovoltaic technology for electricity generation.<\/li>\n<li>High-performance standards: Nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB) and LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certifications.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of installations in a complex environment (exposed ceilings \/ wooden structure), integrating air conditioning, electricity, fire protection, plumbing and sanitation, communications and control, with specific solutions such as technical flooring to optimize integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 20px;\">Read the full project in the Focus 75.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_btn title=&#8221;Download JG Focus 75&#8243;
