JG Ingenieros has provided the service of architecture and engineering of facilities in its phases of project and construction management, for the reform of the Fremap Hospital in Barcelona, located in the Sarrià – Sant Gervasi District in the heart of Barcelona.
The Hospital, which has an area of 5,650 m2, is specialized in the treatment of patients with pathologies derived from professional contingencies, especially of traumatological origin.
The new works carried out allow to have 4 new operating rooms, 2 of them of laminar flow. The Hospital has an outpatient major surgery area with an endowment of six beds, offering the best treatment for those patients with surgical interventions that do not require hospitalization.
It also has 62 inpatient beds, adapted to the needs of patients. Within the emergency area, the new facilities house 3 medical consultations, 1 triage room, 1 dry cleaning room and 1 CPR room, as well as conventional radiology for the exclusive use of the service.
